Bob Poirier

I have been running for over 30 years starting with a triathlon team and local 10K races.  Soon after I got hooked on trail/mountain running and competed several years in a mountain series put on by the Ski Maine Association.  I have also raced several mountain events in New Hampshire including Mt Washington Hill Climb.  I am a “peak bagger” completing all 4000 foot peaks in the White Mountains.  Recently I ran/hiked all 14- 4,000 foot Maine peaks within three consecutive days.  I am a member of the Trail Monster running club in Falmouth and compete in several of their trail races and mountain running adventures.  I have competed in a couple “extreme” mountain trail races Jay Peak, VT and Mont Tremblant, Montreal.  This spring I will be competing in my 60th marathon/ultra marathon as I turn 60 years old.  As team captain I have organized and participated in a several team relays including New England States, and Reach the Beach, NH.
